Machine Learning Engineer Internship

  • Designing and developing machine learning and deep learning systems.
  • Running machine learning tests and experiments.
  • Implementing appropriate ML algorithms.
  • Produce project outcomes and isolate the issues that need to be resolved in order to make programs more effective.
  • Study and transform data science prototypes.
  • Design machine learning systems.
  • Research and implement appropriate ML algorithms and tools.
  • Develop machine learning applications according to requirements.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to build data and model pipelines.
  • Manage the infrastructure and data pipelines needed to bring code to production.
  • Select appropriate datasets and data representation methods.
  • Run machine learning tests and experiments.
  • Perform statistical analysis and fine-tuning using test results.
  • Train and retrain systems when necessary.
  • Extend existing ML libraries and frameworks.
  • Keep abreast of developments in the field.
  • Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role.
  • Deep knowledge of maths, probability, statistics, and algorithms.
  • Ability to write robust code in Python.
  • Familiarity with version control practices (e.g., git and git workflows).
  • Familiarity with Linux.
  • Familiarity in dealing with cloud platforms, AWS is preferred.
  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (e.g., Keras, TensorFlow, or PyTorch) and libraries (e.g., sci-kit-learn, OpenCV, NLTK, and Spacy).
  • Familiarity with Docker is a plus.
  • Understanding of data structures, data modeling, and software architecture.
  • Comfortableness with working from home and a fast-paced work environment.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • An academic degree in a related field is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.

You are/have:

  • Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role.
